CREDITON and District Netball League's summer tournament was held on Saturday, June 1 under blue skies and with glorious sunshine.

Nine teams entered the competition, which was held at Lords Meadow, Crediton. Matches were played over three hours and the eventual winners were Thorverton Stone team who were awarded the winner's shield.

The event was organised by "Foxes", a Crediton-based team and in addition to some great netball matches, a fantastically stocked cake stall added to the fun!

Netball is played in Crediton all year round, at Lords Meadow, generally on a Thursday evening.
