GOOD fishing form at Creedy Lakes, Crediton, produced some nice personal best catches for some anglers last week.
Martin Tickner fished in the shallow water regions at the end of the right-hand bank and had a good result. Fishing boilies the Crediton angler banked six commons in total during his session and topping this was a nice specimen of 21lbs 7oz.
Alvin King, from Crediton, had an eight fish bag whilst fishing the right-hand bank. His all common carp catches included four doubles up to 15lbs 5oz along with four singles up to 9lbs 7oz.
His angling pal, Mick Youles, also from Crediton had a slower start to his fishing day but ended with a nice result banking five fish, all commons including four doubles. His best fish of the day scaled 18lbs 11oz.
Hatherleigh angler Stephen Found enjoyed his fishing trip where he chose to fish on the far bank. He managed to tempt two catches, both commons with his best fish scaling 19lbs in weight.
Tiverton angler Ron Stone fished the point swim on the far bank and enjoyed some bends in the rods. His session ended with him having four catches, all commons best weighing 13lbs.
Finally, Crediton angler Rob Bradley did well, banking six commons all between 11lbs 8oz and 17lbs in weight.
