A TEAM of ladies from the Crediton Tesco store have now fully recovered from their endeavours in running the recent "Race for Life" event at Westpoint, near Exeter. Team members ran, jogged and walked the 5k and 10k courses and with money collected from fundraising events held in the store are delighted to say that they have raised £680 for Cancer Research UK, which organised the event. Becky Lewis, who coordinated the fund-raising at the store, said: "I am so pleased with our team and my colleagues in-store. "We had a great week raising awareness and donations prior to the run and all of the girls that took part had a fantastic time and can be so proud of the amount raised and their efforts on the day. "Thank you to all of you for your help and support."
