THE heavy overnight frost took its toll on the fixtures for Crediton Youth FC on the morning of Saturday, December 2, with virtually all games being postponed.

Fortunately, the rising temperatures allowed the girls scheduled fixtures to go ahead on Sunday morning.

The U13 girls were back in County Cup action and came away from Plymouth Parkway with a fine 7-3 victory.

Ellen Beswick grabbed a hat-trick with Eva, Lexi Mullen and Sophie Hawke also scoring goals.

It was League Cup action for the U15 girls, but they lost out 6-0 away at Torquay United Community Sports Yellows.

At home were the U11 Youth girls who had a great result against Stoke Hill Juniors.

Amongst the goal scorers were Eva Malik, Freya Chesney, Izzy Steward and Merryn Easterly.

The U9 girls had a great morning as they came away with two wins from their games against Axminster and Feniton.
