ON a sun-drenched afternoon, Crediton RFC Women travelled to face the Western Hornets for a high-tempo clash on the 4G pitch.

Crediton started strong, taking the lead in the first half with some sharp attacking play. However, the Hornets came out firing after the break, using their pace and familiarity with the surface to level the score and then edge ahead.

Despite the pressure, Crediton showed impressive resilience and determination. The squad demonstrated clear improvements at the breakdown compared to their previous outing and put in a gritty defensive shift against a powerful, fast-running opposition.

In a thrilling finale, Crediton dug deep to overturn the deficit, scoring two late tries to silence the Hornets and secure a hard-fought victory 26-36.

A fantastic team effort that showcased their growing cohesion and fighting spirit.

A brilliant comeback and a well-earned victory!
