IVYBRIDGE 27-14 CREDITON 2ND XV
HAVING beaten Ivybridge at home in the league earlier in the season, hopes were high that the 2nd XV would come back from Cross-in-Hand with a win and a place in the Devon RFU 2nd XV Cup semi-finals.
Unfortunately, it was not to be and after a tough afternoon for the 2nds, the hosts ran out winners 27-14.
Losing two players to injury in the first five minutes did not help our cause, and will add to the selection woes in coming weeks. In saying that, there were positive signs and the team certainly fought hard and never gave up.
This coming Saturday, November 8 the 1st XV make the short trip to Tiverton in the league, the 2nd XV head to South Molton 1sts, the 3rd XV host South Molton 2nds and the Colts are away at Exeter Athletic. Your support would be greatly appreciated!
