SELECTED members of Queens Badminton Club have been given sponsorship by FZ Forza via England player Ryan Parsons.

Ryan, who has strong links with the club, identified players alongside Performance coach Nick Masson, that showed talent, represented the ethos of the club and promoted a positive image of badminton, attending both national and international tournaments.

The players, Hayden Herkes, Toby Brookes, Sarah Preece and Learna Herkes, all have recently been out at tournaments both locally in Devon as well as in age group national competitions in Nottingham and Worcester.

Many of the Queens players also took part in the recent Senior Devon restricted tournament with Sarah Preece winning the ladies singles with Grace Lee as runner-up. Lloyd Skinner won the men’s singles.
