QUEENS Badminton Club will be running a BISI (Badminton Into Schools Initiative) Festival at Lords Meadow Leisure Centre, Crediton, on Saturday, October 5.
This will be a free opportunity for primary school children to go along, have fun and "have-a-go" at badminton, with no obligation.
This free session will be in the main Sports Hall from 2pm to 4pm and will be led by the Club's Head Coach, Sarah Preece, assisted by a number of other Club coaches.
All of the Club coaches hold current UKCC (United Kingdom Coaching Certificate) badminton coaching qualifications and most are also first aid trained.
All equipment is provided by Queens Badminton Club and youngsters attending just need to turn up wearing non marking trainers and loose clothing.
The Club promise it will be a great opportunity to try out the fastest racket sport in the world.
For further information, telephone Nick Masson on 07590 564009 or Sarah Preece on 07966 486895 or just turn up on the day.
Parents do not need to stay during the session, but are welcome to do so if they wish.
