BADMINTON players from Queens Badminton Club will be representing their school, Queen Elizabeth’s School, Crediton tomorrow, Sunday, May 7, in Milton Keynes playing against teams from across the country.

In the preliminary rounds in Bournemouth in March both boys and girls from years Seven, Eight and Nine competed in the South West Finals.

The boys had some tough games and ended up with a well-earned third place. The girls performed well throughout the day and finished first overall meaning they were automatically entered into the national finals this weekend.

Many of the players train regularly with Crediton-based Queens Badminton Club which wishes them all the best for this weekend.
