THIS year's Queen Elizabeth's Academy Sport's Day was great! We all came to school in our yellow PE tops and black shorts.
We had our morning register with our mentors and then we headed outside to get onto the buses.
The journey took about half-an-hour to Exeter Arena but we had a lot of fun talking about what winning would feel like and what events we were all doing.
When we got there, all the tutor groups, appropriately labelled as C, R, E, D, I, T, O, N sat down so the teachers could tell us what was going to happen and every tutor group was given a sticker, saying what country they were representing for the day.
It started out as a fun morning, but as the morning went on, everyone got more competitive and it became more and more important to win, win, win!
Everyone was having fun with the events: hurdles, running, long jump, javelin, high jump, shot put, discus and relay.
Everyone who won an event got a certificate and their picture taken on the podium which was great!
Doing all these events made everyone really tired and hungry, so when it was time to leave, we all got back on the buses and headed back to school.
It was the most fantastic Sport's Day ever!
