IT’S official, Peggy is a World Record Holder!

Super-fit great-grandmother Peggy Keenor-Crome (83) has been confirmed as the oldest woman to cycle the length of Britain.

Former school teacher Peggy, cycled from John O’Groats to Lands End in aid of the Devon Air Ambulance, starting on June 12 and finished 837 miles and 17 days later.

Recently it was confirmed by Guinness World Records that she is a record-breaker and received a certificate to say so!

Peggy has been taking part in triathlons for more than 40 years and has represented the Great Britain age-group triathlon team more than 60 times.

She was raised in Chulmleigh, attended Crediton High School, formerly lived at Eggesford and taught at the West of England School in Exeter.

Peggy has so far raised more than £5,500.
