A ONE-YEAR celebration of the #Inclusivecrediton initiative, for people of all abilities, both young and old, was held at Lords Meadow Leisure Centre in Crediton.

Lots of activities were on offer and open to all to take part in.

Kwick cricket, bench ball, parachute games along with bowls equipment with which to play bowls, donated from the Bowls Alliance, were on offer.

The club has grown in popularity during the 12 months since it was formed and it is hoped that it will grow further during the coming year.

The club was funded through Active Devon and their Opportunity Club Programme, which will see the establishment of more than 36 inclusive clubs around Devon in a two-year period.

The aim of the project is to provide opportunities for individuals who experience barriers in accessing activity in the local community.

Active Devon is working with various partners in both Mid Devon and throughout the county to provide training and support to develop these projects.

Sessions run every Saturday from 12.30pm to 2.30pm and cost only £2.50.

Further sessions linked to this initiative are due to start shortly, “Bollywood Dancing” and #Inclusive swim sessions.
