CREDITON TAGB Tae Kwon Do group came away from the Southern Championships, held on Sunday, February 2, with a fantastic result.

Congragulations go to two students, Jake Guildford and Lisa Tuckett who took part and won medals.

Jake came away with a gold medal in men's red belt sparring. He travelled down from London to take part and support the club.

He is also looking to going for a Black Belt in April - good luck Jake.

Brave Lisa Tuckett fought through a leg injury, which at one point looked as though she would have to pull out but went on to win the Ladies First Dan Patterns Gold at the championships.

Lisa has been out of competition for many years so for her this was a fantastic result.

Well done to both Lisa and Jake.

Instructor, Ian Bazley, also came out with a bronze in sparring.
