LAST Saturday (April 16) Lapford drew in an away match against Elmore Reserves by 1-1 with the first half resulting in no score.

After half-time, at 67 minutes, Lapford went ahead until 85 minutes when Elmore scored to level and held on for a 1-1 draw.

The result means two points dropped making a total of six points dropped so far for the season still ahead of the nine points dropped by Thorverton, who Lapford will play away on Monday, May 2.

This will be the last match of the season for Thorverton, but Lapford’s last match of the season is an evening match at home against Exeter University Reserves on Monday, May 9.

There will have been a Wednesday evening match away against Axminster Reserves.

Saturday, May 7 is semi-final day for the East Devon Senior Cup when Lapford will play at home to Alphington Reserves.

The winners of this semi-final will play Upottery or Elmore Reserves in the final.
