THE past fortnight at Creedy Lakes Fishery, in Crediton, has shown some nice catches once again with many anglers choosing to fish on the surface which has proved most productive at times.

Copplestone angler Steve Collins had a great session whilst fishing with a ledger rod at the top end of the right-hand bank casting out into shallow water depths.

He tempted a nice common which was the heaviest on his visit.

Other catches over the two weeks include Tiverton angler Andy Shute who banked seven fish with his bag including three 17 pounders together with one green tench.

Mike Skinner, also from Tiverton had a good session banking five commons with his best fish scaling 15lbs in weight.

James from Tedburn St Mary landed two nice doubles with his best weighing 17lbs 8oz.
