LAPFORD angler, Dan Heale, chose to fish a favourite swim of his in the shelf on the far bank at Creedy Lakes, Crediton, during a recent session. 

Using his home-made pop-ups definitely did the trick for Dan as he tempted out five great catches. 

His fish were topped with specimen scaling 24lbs 7oz together with two 21lbs commons and two other double figured commons up to 17lbs in weight. 

Dan also had two other chances during his session but lost them whilst playing the fish.

His combined bag weight amounted to more than 93lbs of fish.
