OKEHAMPTON Golf Club held its annual Pro’s Day on Saturday, September 7, hosted by club professional, Ashley Moon.

The format for the day was a four ball better ball on the front nine and both scores to count on the back nine.

The overall winners with a total of 60 points were Neil Penfold and Kevin Harding, in second place were Kevin Cornwall and Matthew Parry with 58 points having a better back nine than Mark Curtis and Phil Martin who were third.

The ladies section played a monthly medal competition and the winner of the Silver Division was Frances Harbron with nett 70, Marcia Collett was second with nett 72 and Lin Atkinson third with nett 76.

Elaine Marwood was the winner of the Bronze Division with nett 73 after countback on the back nine from, in second Sue Davies, Janice Thwaites was third with nett 75.
