The 10 kilometre(ish) multi-terrain run will take place on Sunday, May 18, starting at 10.30am at the Lords Meadow Leisure Centre, Crediton, EX17 1ER.
This year the event is again being sponsored by Crediton medicated confectionery manufacturers, Ernest Jackson, who will also be supplying marshals at various points along the route.
All proceeds from the run will, once more, go to Balloons, the bereavement counselling charity.
The route is the same as last year and timings are set to be similar too, taking in Shobrooke Park and passing through the grounds of Downes House, Sir Redvers Buller's former home. The runners will also pass over the newly constructed bridge crossing over the as yet to be opened, link road.
Race headquarters will be at the leisure centre where, after the event, there will be an awards presentation and some sustenance for weary runners.
The run finish line will be next to the play area behind Willow Walk, Crediton, a short distance from the leisure centre.
St John Ambulance members will attend to any first aid issues and the Crediton Army Cadet Force, accompanied by volunteers from the Connect Devon youth group, will help out with any other duties including marshalling and handing out water to thirsty runners.
Due to the successes of previous years, the amount of entrant places has been increased from 250 to 300, which means there could be more funds available for the charity than ever before.
Some entries have already been received, so please make sure you book early to avoid disappointment.
You can do this either by picking up a leaflet at the leisure centre or online at http://www.creditoncrunch.co.uk">www.creditoncrunch.co.uk .
