IT was a better Saturday (February 24) weatherise for some football to be played for both Lapford AFC teams.

The First team were away to Perry Street in Tatworth, Dorset - the last of the long trips away for this season. The match ended in a 2-2 draw, a good point I think.

Tomorrow, Saturday, March 3 the First team are away at Colyton, another hard match but good luck.

The Reserves were at home on February 24 to Kenn Valley and lost by 4-2. Tomorrow they will play Colyton Reserves at home, kick off 3pm.

So, again, best of luck to both teams.
