CREDITON angler Paul Gribble had some success last week at Creedy Lakes, Crediton, when he tempted out catches into double figures, with his best fish on the day a good mid-upper 20lbs common carp.
Another Crediton fisherman, Steve Tancock, had probably his best session this season whilst fishing from the first swim on right bank. His three catches, all of which were commons, weighed 20lbs 5oz, 14lbs 10oz and 9lbs 11oz.
Mike Izzard, also from Crediton, enjoyed a session fishing on the left bank which saw him having six fish with his best catch tipping the scales to 21lbs.
Crediton junior six-years-old Tyler Strong came out during half-term to enjoy some angling tuition from his dad Dan.
He had two catches, both commons out of the main lake with specimens scaling 15lbs and 6lbs.
