DOWNES Crediton Golf Club Seniors played an individual stableford on Monday, December 7 with victory going to Richard Wilson with a total of 40 points.

In second was Mike Hammond with 39 points and third was Mike Conder with 38 points edging David Warren into fourth with a better back nine holes.

Saturday, December 12 saw a full field, including all sections of the club, join in an individual Par/Bogey Competition that produced some fine scoring across the board.

The format that sees players compete against the course in a type of matchplay format, saw Adrian Cram take the overall top spot with a tremendous score of +7.

This also gave Adrian victory in Division Three, but only by a single shot, with Daniel Rogers coming second scoring +5 and Stephen Cross finished third with +5.

Division One victory went to Matt Davey with +4 beating Darren Clifford (+4) into second place with a superior back nine holes. Steve Whyte finished third with +3.

Division Two saw Frank Sanders and Shaun Cross both post scores of +3 with Frank taking top spot courtesy of a better back nine. Jon Cornish came in third on +2.

Katie Cornish took the honours in the Ladies Division with a fine score of +4.

The most lucrative finish of the day though went to Tim Staite who scored the only “two” of the day.
