CREDITON dispatched a poor Exwick Villa side 3-0 on Saturday afternoon (September 3) in front of a large crowd due to the 40-year reunion at Lords Meadow.

Crediton took the lead in the opening 15 minutes when the away ‘keeper dropped a simple cross with Richard Blake on-hand to tuck home from two centimetres out.

Steve Morish had his best game of the season and was terrorising the Exwick Villa right-back and got a deserved goal to make the score 2-0 at the break.

The second half saw Crediton continue to dominate and the rarest of rare sights was seen to make the final score 3-0 to the hosts.

A whipped in corner was headed home from six yards by captain fantastic David John Lee. This will probably be his last goal until the 2018/2019 season if his recent goal scoring ratio is to go by!
