LAPFORD AFC played away against Exeter University Reserves on Saturday, October 16, and won by 4-1 to remain unbeaten so far this season.

The stats are as follows: P8 - W6 - D2 - L0 - PTS 20, goals F29 A7 - GD+22.

As expected the hosts like to play their football mostly at ground level and out from the back as seen on TV and being coached full-time while at Exeter, but the visitors can do that as part-time players.

According to my watch Lapford scored their three goals in the first half in eight, 15 and 39 minutes to go in at half-time 3-0.

But in the second half the hosts scored in three minutes to pull one back for 1-3, but on 15 minutes the visitors scored to make it 4-1 to them and stayed that way until full-time. Well done lads.

On Saturday, October 23, Colyton come to Lapford, hopefully our home record will stay intact.
