I START my report with both clubs and spectators observing one minutes silence in respect before Remembrance Day as a National Service person (1951/53), many thanks.

On to the match at home to Elmore Reserves with another win to keep the home record still unbeaten since 2018 by winning 4-1.

Lapford scored first on eight minutes, Elmore did draw level on 17 minutes, but the hosts went ahead on 35 minutes and on 45 minutes the hosts scored again to go in to half-time 3-1 up.

Goal number three was the “icing on the cake” from which the visitors failed to recover.

On 75 minutes Lapford put the final “nail in the coffin” for a 4-1 win.

Tomorrow (Saturday, November 20) Lapford are at home to Dawlish with a 2.15 pm kick-off.

Good luck to all. Onwards and upwards.

To finish my report , many thanks to all those who put together the Remembrance display - very good for a village.

Lapford are now top of the Premier Division with 29 points.

Well done, well played.
