LAPFORD achieved a perfect 10 in the County Cup tie against Ottery St Mary Reserves and Lapford had a home win of 6-2 against Meadowbank Athletics (South Devon Area).

So, once again, Lapford’s home record is still unbroken.

Other Premier teams from Devon and Exeter into the third round are Elmore Reserves, Beer Albion and Axminster Reserves.

Kentisbeare, Sidmouth, Dawlish and Ottery St Mary Reserves all lost.

Two league matches took place as follows: Lyme Regis v University Reserves 3-3 and Thorverton v Colyton 6-2.

On to tomorrow (Saturday, October 9) Lapford are at home to Thorverton with a 3pm kick-off.

The fixtures for Lapford: October 16 - away to University Reserves, October 23 - home to Colyton and October 30 - away to Axminster Reserves.

With the bad weather on Saturday, October 2 there were not a lot of supporters at the ground.

The half-time score was 3-1 to Lapford. Goals being scored on 20 minutes, 23 minutes and 24 minutes with one to the visitors on the 25th minute.

Into the second-half the visitors pulled one back on 50 minutes thinking about a win, but Lapford upped the pressure with goals scored on 67,70 and 82 minutes thus making the result 6-2 to the hosts.
