Former chairman Dave Blanchford had invited former players back to the club for the first match of the season, an FA Vase match, when Crediton were playing Clevedon.
Dave said that he had been connected with the club all his married life and before. His wife Monica has been much involved as well including doing innumerable teas.
One of their eight grandchildren, Michael, was playing that day for Crediton Firsts against Clevedon.
Another former chairman at the reunion was Chris Gillard who has received a special award from the FA for his work for football at Crediton and Ian Grinney who was chairman in the early 1970’s. Dave has been chairman four times between 1979 and 2011.
Everyone was invited to share hospitality before the match and then afterwards enjoyed a light supper.
