SUNDAY, September 21 saw a massive morning of girls football at Lords Meadow playing fields for Crediton Youth FC.
Every pitch was in use with four age groups hosting visiting sides.
The newly reformed U15 girls picked up their first of the season against Axminster Tigers. A superb strike from Evelyn Richardson Miller and a hat-trick from Olivia Mills saw them run out 4-1 winners after a great second half team performance.
Owing to low numbers the side had to withdraw from the league last season. Pre season long serving club coaches Sean Hartrey and Martin Daniel stepped in to reform the side.
After a summer of recruitment and rebuilding the side has returned to the Devon Girls league.

It took a late goal for the U13 Youth girls to edge out their guests Newton Fire 2-1. Emily Walshe and Mia Liebenberg White on target for them.
Another win for the U11 girls as they beat Cranbrook Youth. Tahli Smaldon and Esme Armitage amongst the goals for them.
The U9 girls started their league campaign against two sides from Dawlish Youth.
It was two wins and two defeats for them. Amelia Holland, Bethany Mackie, Octavia Abbot and Robyn Moxey all getting goals for them.
Away from home it was a big win for the U13 girls Blues as they returned from Feniton with a 2-1 result with goals from Immy Treen and Molly Carr.
That result completed an excellent weekend for the Crediton Youth FC girls section.
