EXETER and Tedburn Rangers Ladies Football team, which plays in Division One (West) of the South West Women’s Football League, begin preparations for the 2017-18 season with an Open Training Session at its home ground, Barley Park, Tedburn St Mary, at 2pm on Sunday, June 25.
The Open Training Session will then be followed by further midweek training sessions, and entry into a Women’s small-sided tournament at Yeovil the following weekend.
The new season will be the club’s 35th year of providing competitive football for women, and its 10th since its move from Exeter to Tedburn St Mary where it has become fully enmeshed in the activities of Tedburn St Mary Football Club.
The club, which plays its matches on Sunday afternoons, is always keen to attract new players - and is especially seeking a goalkeeper for the forthcoming season.
Anyone interested should be over the age of 16 and, regardless of experience, will be welcomed at the club.
If you are interested just turn up on June 25, or contact Dr Rod Hawker (Manager) on 07725 360609 or email: [email protected] .
