EXETER and Tedburn Rangers Ladies Football Club is seeking a manager and coaches to help the club in the future.
This well-established Women’s Football Club was founded in 1982, and the latest of the club’s managers is now planning retirement at some point during the course of the next 12 months.
Sadly, after 45 years in coaching and management both in the men’s and women’s game, time has caught-up with the present manager and younger blood and joints are sought to lead the club forward.
The club is therefore looking for a manager/management team capable of leading the Club during the next phase of its life and into the future.
Rod Hawker, chairman, explained: “This summer could represent an ideal time to come on board and get to see how the club currently operates, especially if new to women’s football.
“With the Women’s World Cup soon to be upon us, this represents an ideal time to get involved in one of the country’s leading female sports, and with a club boasting a long history of developing women footballers.”
The team currently compete in the South West Women’s Football League and play their home matches at Tedburn St Mary’s ground (Barley Park) on Sunday afternoons.
At present the team train during winter on Wednesday evenings at Westexe School Astro in Exeter, and at Barley Park (Tedburn St Mary FC), Tedburn during the summer months.
The club is an integral part of, and is supported by, Tedburn St Mary FC and is represented on that club’s committee - having a voice in all things related to the Club.
Rod added: “If you are interested in the possibility of taking this club forward, in either a managerial or coaching capacity, we would be very happy to meet you and discuss further.”
Any interested person/persons can contact Rod by telephone or text on 07725 360609 or email: [email protected] in confidence.
