CREDITON came up against Feniton on Saturday, October 8, for the third time in the past 18 months having previously won 8-0 and 6-0.

Crediton made a raft of changes with Waring, Townsend, Harris, Pike, Gregory and Parsons all getting rare starts.

The visitors went ahead following a heavily deflected strike. However the game was level when Emlyn Harris bundled home.

After stunning wing play from Dave Lee who got to the by line for just the fourth time in his mens career, pulled the ball back to Townsend who gave the league leaders a 2-1 lead at the break.

Creddy dominated the second half but found Pullen in the away goal in superb form.

Chances came and went for the hosts with Harris and Pike both culpable, but the old warrior Harris sealed the win for the hosts midway through the half and to seal an away tie at Ashburton in the next round.

Creddy have a rare weekend off, being in action again next Tuesday (October 18) at home to Budleigh in the Throgmorton Cup.
