LAST weekend saw Exeter and District Youth league finals for two Crediton Youth FC sides held at Tiverton Town FC.

The U9 Pumas and Broadclyst Lions played out a 2-2 draw with the league cup being shared between both sides, Bobby Harris and Harry Simeone getting their goals.

It was Plate Final action for the U12s as their final against Brixington Blues also ended up two apiece. Unfortunately, for them they lost out on penalties. Finn Cereda and Parker Ambrosio were on the scoresheet for them.

It was another busy weekend of tournament football for many sides. Many of the clubs sides took part in the Culm Sampford six-a-side tournament.

The U7s were runners-up at their first ever tournament.

It was runners-up as well for the U9 Cats girls with the Lionesses making it through to the quarters.

The U11 Thunder girls lost out in their semi final against Culm Sampford Cats.

Also, losing out in the semis were the U15 girls. They looked to be heading to the final until a last-minute equaliser from Axminster Tigers took their semi-final to penalties which they eventually lost out on.

Torrington was the U13 Girls Blues and Pinks’ destination as they ended up runners-up and semi-finalists at that event.
