IT was another frustrating weekend for Crediton Youth FC as the weather again saw most of the scheduled fixtures wiped out.

The U9’s moved their fixtures against two very useful Broadclyst sides to the astro. 

The Pumas won one game and the Panthers lost out in the dying seconds in one of their games. 

All the players performed really well with the player of the day awards going to Leo Hargreaves, Joey Carpenter and Joel Carroll. 

Their coaches were really impressed with the fantastic role of their captains Kit Bloxham Hatt and Oscar Smith on the day.

Fortunately, the U12s have had two away fixtures that have survived the weather. 

They came away from Exmouth Town with a 2-1 victory with Will Hopkins and Luis Matthews getting the goals. 

But they had to settle for a point away at Heavitree Lightning with Josh Poole putting them in front in the first half but the Exeter side equalised in the second half to share the points. 

The result still sees them stay top of the table.
