LAST Saturday (January 15) was a good afternoon for the weather and a big crowd for the first round East Devon Seniors Cup fixture at home to Newton St Cyres.

The match ended with a 4-0 win for Lapford, thus keeping the home record still unbeaten for 34 matches with a goal record of: For 163 - Against 26.

We now wait for the result of the fixture between Lyme Regis and Tipton St John being played on Saturday, January 22. for the second round in the cup.

There will be a 2.15pm kick-off on Saturday, January 22 when we play away at Colyton, with whom we have a record of P5-W1-D4-L0.

Onwards and upwards and good luck to all, and to keeping in the top spot in the Premier Division.
