WHAT an end to the year for the Crediton Youth FC girls section!

The club now runs sides at four age groups, plus holding its Wild Cats and Squad Girls sessions on a Friday night at Lords Meadow.

The club is now providing football for almost 100 girls.

Friday, December 15 saw the final training session of the year for all the girls age groups.

The Wild Cats and Squad Girls and U9s finished with their annual fun session, followed by a get together in the clubhouse.

Saturday saw two U9 girls travel to Hatherleigh. They enjoyed a fine morning of football against another newly formed side.

On Sunday, Christmas came early for the U15 girls as they had a rather one sided result against Moors Lionesses.

Amy Locker led the scoring for Crediton, with Lily Anne Smith, Chloe Curtis, Amelia Duffin, Erin Reed and Martha Brotherton also getting goals.

The U13 girls had to settle for a draw away at Moors with Gracie Clements and Lexi Mullen on target for them in a 2-2 draw.

It was another great result for the U11 Blues as they returned from Stoke Hill with a victory.
