THE weather finally allowed most of the fixtures on Saturday, November 11 to take place for Crediton Youth FC sides.

Although, the overnight rain saw most of Sunday’s games get wiped out.

It was a bit of a goal feast at Lords Meadow.

The U14s came out on top 5-4 against Fenton Youth.

Alfie Greenwood Williams and Billy Dymond both getting two apiece with Ashley Henderson grabbing the other.

But that was nothing compared to the U13s 14 goal thriller against Heavitree Lightning.

It’s not often you score six goals and still end up on the losing side.

Ethan Moore with a hat-trick and a brace from George Strawson and a goal from Will Hopkins was just not enough to get the Crediton side the win.

Away from home, the U15s were edged out 3-2 at Twyford Spartans.

Sunday saw Crediton Youth U11 girls take on Newton Fire.

They had a great win with Merryn Eatherley leading the scoring, with Eva Malik, Freya Chesney, and Izzy Steward also amongst the goal scorers.

Izzy also took the player of the match award, which was chosen by the opposition.
