THE inaugural meeting of the newly formed Crediton and District U3A (University of the Third Age) will be held at the Boniface Centre, on Friday, October 9, from 10am to 12 noon.

U3A is a learning co-operation of older people, which enables members to share educational, creative and leisure activities including talks, church visits, walking, bus trips, history, philosophy, board games, pub lunches and science.

Members learn from each other through sharing their knowledge, skills and experience.

Yearly membership is priced at £15 (£25 for couples).
