AN Individual medal competition incorporating the first round of the Club Championships was played at Okehampton Golf Club on Saturday, June 3.

The winner of Division One was Will Searle with nett 65, Paul Rattenbury was second with nett 67 and Richard McFarlane was third also with nett 67. Division Two was won by Toby Gostling with nett 63 after count back from, in second Alan Searle also with nett 63, Richard Johnson was third with nett 67.

Matt Chamberlain was the winner of Division Three with nett 64, Steve Latham was second with nett 67 and John Latham took third place with nett 71.

In the ladies section, Cherry James and Penny Deakin were the winners of the Express and Echo foursomes qualifier with 36 points and Maggie Caws and Sue Williams were second with 32 points.

Both couples will go through to the finals, which will be held at Exeter later in the year.
