AT a recent Devon Cricket League meeting, Sandford Cricket Club was awarded the League's prestigious “Club of the Year” award, based on Umpires' reports, pitch markings, quality of pitch, and behaviour/respect from our players towards officials and opponents.

It was truly a great honour to finish off a good season for the club.

In addition to that, Lawrence Walker also won the League's DCL Young Player of the Year, to go along with a similar award he won for the Club.

What a great season he had, not only for Sandford Cricket Club, but also for the full Devon County team, where he became a regular member of the team.
