IT was still a busy week for many Crediton Youth FC sides although there were few fixtures.

Exeter City’s Harry Kite, who the club sponsors, visited Lords Meadow in the week and helped out with many of the training sessions taking place.

Sunday also saw the club run their last trip of the season for mainly the U15,16 and 18s players.

Once again, club Chairman Adrian Harvey had worked his magic with his choice of fixture as those in the group were spoilt with an eight goal thriller.

The group had a great day as they saw Southampton and Liverpool share the points on the final day of the season at the St Mary’s stadium.

Sadly, it was to be Southampton’s last game in the premiership for a while as the team had already been relegated.

Thanks go to Adrian and all the coaches who helped out on the day to make these trips possible.

In the week the U18s were away at Clyst Valley. They lost 3-1 with Sam Price getting the consolation goal.

The U12’s hosted Cranbrook Youth as they prepare for next season by having an 11v11 friendly.

Goals from Jac Caruana and Luis Matthews saw them to a 2-0 victory.
