CREDITON Youth Football Club is a vibrant local club, open to all boys and girls interested in playing football in the Crediton area.
It currently has a full range of year teams from U7s through to U18s, with about 200 members.
Teams play in a variety of friendly and competitive leagues across Devon – including Exeter and District, Mid Devon, North Devon Youth Leagues and the countywide Devon FA League.
Karen Maule, secretary, Crediton Youth Football, explained: "We are an FA Charter Standard Club and, as such, take very seriously the importance of child welfare and protection.
"We have CRC checked and FA Level 1 qualified coaches and assistants in most age ranges (eight of which have qualified this year). Our Child Protection Officer is Karen Stevens.

Recent or planned events have included a Christmas disco, a Premiership match day trip (Aston Villa v Liverpool, January 17), U12s sprint training session with Craig Pickering (British Olympic Sprinter), match day trip to Exeter City (including U12 penalty shoot out), U16s trip to England v Lithuania, trip to the Emirates Stadium (home of Arsenal) and Coach Mentoring Programme.
