A MEMBER of Crediton Taekwon-Do, Alex Carder, is currently representing the school as well as PUMA at the 2022 World Cup.

A representative from Crediton TKD explained: “Mr Carder has been a massive part of our group and is certainly making his mark on the National and International arenas. Not only that, he is just a really great young man, an inspiration and wonderful role model.

Before he left the UK to compete, Alex Carder explained: “I’ve been training in ITF Taekwon-Do at Crediton from the age of four and now at the age of 19 I have been selected by PUMA England to represent and compete at the upcoming World Cup in Slovenia.

“Anyone who knows me will know I put my all into Taekwon-Do.

“The World Cup is being held in Slovenia and the tournament has 52 nations competing with 1,300+ competitors in total.

“I’ll be competing in patterns and special technique as well as coaching other puma students when not competing myself.”
