CLUB FRIENDLIES

MONDAY, September 16 - six mixed triples v Bradworthy - home: yet another "Hot Shot," the third in three weeks. This time Tom Richards, Carole Haywood and John Robbins produced the magic nine shots in this triples match.

T Richards won 34-8, P Martin won 15-13, S Woolacott won 18-15, M Haywood won 22-12, R Gunn won 18-12 and R Grant drew 17-17. Crediton won by 124-77 shots.

Wednesday, September 18 – four mixed rinks v Pinces Gardens – home – Crediton lost this match by one shot. S Wollacott lost 12-23, M Scott lost 14-16, R Grant won 20-12 and M Grant won 21-17. Crediton lost by 67-68 shots.

Thursday, September 19 – four mixed triples v Okehampton – home – P Page won 18-8, G Newbery won 24-14, T Richards won 21-12 and T Chamberlain won 22-12. Crediton won by 85-46 shots.

MEN'S HANDICAP FINAL

Played on Saturday, September 21, in a match "marked" by Andrew Milford, Shane Boddy defeated

Roy Andrews by 26-19 shots to win the Men's Handicap final.

Sunday, September 22 – Den Ford Triples - This annual bowling day is held in memory of Den Ford who was a highly respected bowling member of Crediton Bowling Club.

The bowls drive was won by a triples rink of Trevor Newbery, Glenis Fribbens and John Robbens, runners up were George Newbery, Susan Grigg and David Rainford. The event was organised Peter Martin the Captain of Crediton Bowling Club.
