LOCAL students, Chloe Sibley (16) and her best friend, Lily Mead (17) took part in a marathon walk in aid of Cancer Research UK on Saturday, April 17.

Cancer has affected, and is still affecting both their families.

Chloe and Lily, from Tedburn St Mary walked 26 miles from Exeter to Exmouth and then back to Exeter to complete the walk in eight hours and 39 minutes.

To date Chloe and Lily have raised £1,039 for the cancer charity.
