THE Pub Day Challenge at North Tawton Bowling Club has once again taken place after that one-year lockdown.
What a success it was, all worth the wait.
A lovely day saw the 12 pub teams play each other under the supervision of club chairman John Kinsey aided and abetted by Dave Nicks and Lloyd Reynolds and club members.
This saw a day filled with bowls, beer and burgers.
It was great to see the many children and families enjoy the setting space and fresh air so often missed in recent times.
After a long day of bowling, sessions on the green finally came to a show down between the Copper Key and The Fountain Inn.
The Fountain Inn were the overall winners, the team comprising Matt Weeks, Tony Fisher and Steve Lonergan.
It was a great day for North Tawton and the Bowling Club.
The grand total of £2,384.00 was made! Thank you North Tawton.
