THE Chairman of Mid Devon District Council, Councillor John Daw, will bowl the first wood of the season to launch the new season for Crediton Bowling Club at 2pm on Saturday, April 15.

Following the opening, there will be a game of bowls for members and the traditional bowlers tea.

Later in the week the club will be holding Taster Sessions as in previous years, to encourage anyone who might like to try out bowling to come down to “have a go”! 

Taster Days are as follows: Thursday, April 20 at 10am, Saturday, April 22 at 10am, Friday, May 5 at 2pm and Saturday, May 6 at 10am.

Everyone is welcome, all you require is flat shoes.
