A TOTAL of 12 teams competed in a Six-a-Side football tournament, held on the astroturf pitch at Lords Meadow Leisure Centre, Crediton.

Everyone enjoyed the event in nice weather. The final was between "England" a young team with players from Crediton and Exeter and "Bow Blues" a team made up of players from Bow Football Club's First team.

Bow Blues won the match 2-0 with a super goal from Dean Jones. England made Bow work for their victory and it took two good goals to beat them.

The Bow team received £150 in prize money.
