ANOTHER clean sheet for Lapford who played away to Axminster Town Reserves and remain unbeaten in the Premier Division this Season with two league matches left to complete.

Lapford will play away at Thorverton on Monday, May 2 and at home to Exeter University Reserves on Monday, May 9.

The result at Axminster on Saturday, April 24 was a 7-0 win.

This means that Lapford has now scored 91 goals for with 18 goals against.

The team is still in the number one spot above Thorverton by three points.

This season Lapford has played 28 league and cup matches losing just one and drawn three, and nine clean sheets, scoring a total of 123 goals for and 25 goals against.

Onwards and upwards to May 2 when I shall look forward to all the Lapford supporters being on duty at Thorverton for the “match of the season” Premier Division Joma Devon and Exeter League, with three wins to Lapford so far.

Lapford will play on Saturday, May 7 in the semi-final in the East Devon Senior Cup at home to Alphington Reserves, who last played Lapford in a league match in 2018.

Very good luck to all for a good end to the season.
