FIXTURES were reduced last weekend for Crediton Youth FC owing to half-term.
The U10s were the only side to play at home. Both sides turned in excellent performances as they won all four games against Starcross.
Amongst the goal scorers were Evan Leach, Finn Moore, Jacob Sweeney, Joseph Charlesworth, Radu Mototolea, Will Manns and Will Mullen.
The U14s had to settle for a point away at Brixington Blues where it ended three apiece. Hayden Leach, Rhys Ebdy and Zach Mildon were on target for Crediton.
It took a last minute equaliser for the U16s to come away from Broadclyst with a 2-2 draw with Louis Garnsworthy and Owen Jones getting the Crediton goals.
The U18s got their first point of the season as they also drew with a goal from Finn Warren away at Tedburn St Mary.
Goals from Abbie Carthew and Chloe Curtis saw the U14 girls get a great 2-1 victory away at rivals Central Youth City.
After a long break owing to Covid, the club was really pleased to be able to run a trip to a Premier League fixture. Players from the U12,13 and 14s made the journey up to St Mary’s stadium to watch the Southampton v Arsenal game.
For many, it was their first opportunity to watch a Premier League fixture. The game ended in a 1-1 draw. Special thanks must go to club chairman Adrian Harvey for all his hard work in organising the trip.
