CHRIS Nash (31), who cycles regularly to and from his Lapford home to work at The Barn Owl, Exeter, is preparing to cycle from London to Paris, 280-miles, in aid of the charity, SCOPE - and all in 24 hours!

He is collecting sponsorship in aid of the disability charity.

Chris, a chef at the pub/restaurant, has been promised £650 in donations to date and hopes to attract much more before he leaves for his venture tomorrow, Saturday, July 6.

He explained that he believed SCOPE was a little-known charity and he decided it would be a good one to support.
