DOWNES Crediton Golf Club professional, Barry Austin, has won the prestigious Kenyon Trophy for the eighth time in 20 years.

Barry was the leading professional in the Devon Professionals Golfers Alliance for the year 2014/15 and won the trophy by accruing the most points in the season.

He was presented with the trophy at the last meeting of the year which was held at Exeter Golf and Country Club on March 12.
